Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive fabric, accessory, and procurement strategy that supports the brand's design and product goals. Collaborate with designers, merchandisers, and suppliers to identify and source new materials, accessories, and procure necessary goods and services. Oversee the quality control process to ensure all materials, accessories, and procured items meet our high standards. Manage procurement activities, including supplier selection, negotiation, contract management, and cost optimization. Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations to inform the development and procurement processes. Manage a team of fabric and accessory developers, providing guidance and mentorship to enhance their skills and performance. Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and delivery terms for both materials and procured goods and services. Prepare and present fabric, accessory, and procurement development reports to the management team. Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and standards for both materials and procurement. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Textile Science, Fashion Design, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years' experience in fabric and accessory development and procurement within the fashion industry. Proven track record of leading and developing a team. Strong knowledge of textile materials, manufacturing processes, quality control, and procurement practices. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant design and procurement software.
